Round serving dish, hand painted in the traditional Mexican Talavera style. Perfect complement to any kitchen or dining room. Made specifically for food service. Talavera is a distinctive art form brought to Mexico from Spain. Later, artisans in Puebla, Mexico incorporated their own designs, creating the blue and white oyster patterns traditionally associated with Talavera Poblana. Today there are also more "contemporary" designs that include yellow, green, orange, mauve, black and red.
