Spirit boat of Wounaan origin, an ethnic group located between the departments of Chocó and Valle del Cauca in Colombia. Handmade in balsa wood, decorated with natural dyes in black and red. These boats represent the protection of the spirit and are usually used to face misfortune, illness and death, they must be made by a spiritual leader known as Jaibaná, who designs and makes the boat, carving inside it the crew members, called páchaidáma that can be people and animals, and which are chosen by the Jaibaná during their training, so each boat has a unique design and a different meaning.
