The butterfly earrings are handmade by artisans from Santa Cruz de Mompox, a district of Colombia, in the department of Bolivar. Filigree is a craft technique in which thin threads of valuable metals are used to elaborate detailed designs. This technique has been passed down from one generation to the next and is considered cultural and intangible heritage. Butterfly earrings are the ideal complement to an elegant outfit.
