Couple always together, originally from the island of Java in Indonesia, carved in one piece and hand painted in wood in the mid-twentieth century. Its name comes from the words "Loro Blonyo" which in Javanese translates "two together" or "always together", these sculptures used to be given at weddings as a gift representing union, fertility and happiness for the newlyweds, who subsequently placed these sculptures considered sacred in the main room of the house to ensure the fulfillment of good wishes.
